What the exam asks you to do:
Section a asks you to write a single poem essay on a poem that you have a copy of. 20 minutes Section b asks you to write a comparison essay on the poem from section a and another poem of your choice from the anthology, but you don't have a copy of the Anthology poem in front of you. Example Question below: Anthology Question (a) Read the poem below, To Autumn, by John Keats. In this poem Keats explores ideas about nature. Write about the ways in which Keats presents nature in this poem. [15] This question assesses AO1, AO2 and AO3. (b) Choose one other poem from the anthology in which the poet also writes about nature. Compare the presentation of nature in your chosen poem to the presentation of nature in To Autumn.
