1B - Fiction Writing - creative writing short story
The second exam includes:
2A - Non Fiction reading - comprehension, analysis, evaluation, synthesis and comparison skills assessed through A1 - A6 questions
2B - Transactional Writing - 2 real life writing tasks which ask you to apply different purpose, audience and formats.

1B - Poetry Anthology essays - single poem and comparison essay (one poem published for the single essay and the title and author published with no copy of the poem for comparison)
The second exam includes:
2A - Lord of the Flies or Blood Brothers or An Inspector Calls essay which reflects on an extract and the whole text (spelling, punctuation and grammar and vocabulary are assessed)
2B - A Christmas Carol which is again an essay reflecting on an extract and the whole text (includes assessment of context)
2C - Unseen Poetry which is a single poem and comparison essay
